Cancer Australia releases new position statement on genetic testing for women with ovarian cancer

Cancer Australia has released a position statement to provide information and recommendations on genetic testing for women diagnosed with invasive epithelial ovarian cancer, based on available evidence and on consensus.

The scope of this Position Statement encompasses genetic testing for heritable, or germline, gene mutations, with a focus on genetic testing of BRCA1 and BRCA2.
